Freedom Feet blesses the lives of thousands of our servicewomen stationed in combat zones for the past four years. Stefanie Van Ness, a Lemongrass Spa Consultant from Iowa, was inspired to help females serving our country from her experience as an Army wife. "Soldiers receive many care packages during their tours overseas, and that is amazing. But I know that most of those packages are geared towards men...and they appreciate the car magazines and shaving cream!"
Unfortunately, the women in uniform tend to be forgotten when it comes to care packages. To show our appreciation for all they do for Americans, we would like to treat each female solder to a Cucumber Foot Kit to relax, pamper and support their efforts. Those amazing women are in heavy combat boots all day; endure hot, dusty conditions and worst of all, they are far away from loved ones and any resemblance of "real life". By sending these kits, we hope to communicate to them that they are loved and we think of them often; that we feel that as women, they still need to be pampered and that their service is appreciated.
In 2011, 1323 Freedom Feet Foot Kits were shipped to female soldiers in Iraq, Afghanistan, Japan and other locations around the world.
